PENINGKATAN PROFESIONALISME GURU ADMINISTRASI PERKANTORAN KOTA YOGYAKARTA melalui LESSON STUDY

Lesson Study is a scheme of cooperation between the teachers as a way to develop their capability in the learning process by doing research and reflect systematically. The purpose of lesson study is to develop teacher’s service in the student’s needed.
The ways of lesson study first is prepare section. In the prepare section teacher prepare the lesson plan together with the other teacher. Then in the holding section, the teacher must hold learning process in real class, and the other teacher do observation. The next way is reflection and first revision. The teacher and lecturer must discuss. And the last way is reflection and second revision.
Lesson study is done to innovate the education by revision of learning process . The paradigm consist of student centered, constructivist approach, realistic approach and contextual teaching learning. Lesson study and innovation for education can be done if :
1.      The teacher has high commitment
2.      Developed the system
3.      A movement of all element
4.      Get motivation and the innovation is for a long time.
The kinds of lesson study are : between the teachers, between a school, between institution, national, and international. Lesson study always give spirit for school based curriculum. This curriculum develop student’s capability and make the student become subject of learning process. Lesson study is not learning method. In lesson study, it needs a theme, for example how to develop lesson plan, assessment, student worksheet and learning method.
Lesson study is holding by many steps. There are plan, do, and see. In the planning there are some discussion to prepare the standard competency lesson plan, worksheet, and the schedule of teaching learning process. Then continued by hold teaching learning process and research activity, and the last is reflection activity.
The spirit of lesson study is the understanding and implementation of the nature of motivation, the nature of discussion, the nature of group discussion, the nature of student participation, the nature of construction  and the nature of aim of education : obligation VS need. The socialization of lesson study can be done by publication, lesson study open house, cooperation with university (LPTK), and so on.
