As
soon as to do the School Based Curriculum for every graduate of education,
begin from the secondary school, junior high school, senior high school and
university, it will make the new problem. The problem is about the teaching
learning process in every subject. The teacher as the center who has the main
role from the education activity need to understand about philosophy and the
concept of KTSP.
According
to the Government Rule No. 25 tahun 2000, in education and culture, government
have authority to decide the competence standard and content standard. Then,
the government especially “Direktorat Pendidikan Menengah Umum” have duty to
prepare all of the orientation, such as orientation to develop the syllabi and
orientation about assessment system.
KTSP
is the operational curriculum that is designed and to be done for every school.
KTSP is the implementation of the basic education curriculum that is developed
according to the relevant of the school and the committee. KTSP is developed
according to the principles :

Potential, developing, students need and
the environment is the center
2.
Many kinds
3.
Responsibility to the developing of
knowledge, technology and art
4.
Relevant with the life needed
5.
Study every time until die
6.
Balance between the national importance
and local importance
The
component of KTSP is :
1. The
purpose of the curriculum
2. Operational
orientation for arranging KTSP
3. Structure
and the content of KTSP
4. The
rule of the study load
5. Graduation
and the final exam
6. Education
for the life good looking
7. Education
based on the local superior and global superior
8. Calendar
of the education
Syllabi
is the explanation of the competence standard and basic competence into main
subject, teaching learning process, and indicator to reach the competences.
Syllabi must be developed according to the school need.
