PERSOALAN PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH

            From the result of the research, most of the teacher still use the traditional method when they teach mathematics to their students. They only use expository method, give example, give a question and give the task. By using this method, the teacher difficult to serve all of the students need, motivate the students to get high achievement, motivate the students to learn actively, use and develop teaching aids and motivate the students to work together with the other friends.
            By this research, the teacher can develop their method to solve the problem.
Developing of the teaching learning model through the action research to solve their difficulties of the teacher to their students give the positive impact, but in realization these are any technic struggle, academic or culture.
  1. The effort of the teacher to fulfill all of the students need, motivate the students to get high achievement, increase their achievement, and motivate the students to learn in group can be done through : Develop the students worksheet, make the study club, develop the discussion method in class, and developing various media or teaching aids.
  2. In their effort to develop the teaching learning model can be conclude that :
a.       The teacher is difficult in serve many kinds of the students need
b.      The teacher not yet to develop the scheme to motivate the students increase their achievement
c.       The teacher is success in make the condition so that motivate the students to learn actively, but still difficult to develop the scheme
d.      The teacher is success in make the condition so that motivate the students to study in a group
e.       The teacher has been effort to develop the discussion method, problem solving, exercise and give assignment
f.       In generally, the teacher has been effort to develop the teaching learning method
Suggestion for the teacher : The teacher can effort to increase the quality of the teaching learning mathematics by developing method to fulfill all of the students need. In develop the method, the teacher must consider  to plan the environment of study mathematics, plan the mathematics activity, develop the teacher roles, manage the time, evaluate themselves, etc.
Suggestion for the headmaster : make the conducive situation so that the teacher can develop their creativity, motivate many kinds of the source and teaching learning method, change the role of the headmaster, not use the final exam as the one of the source to determine the achievement of the students, develop the evaluation that be oriented to the process.
Suggestion for the government : give the opportunity for the headmaster to develop the programs according to the characteristic of the school and society, investigate the national curriculum to be changed by local curriculum, investigate the evaluation system.
Suggestion for the “ Lembaga Perguruan Tinggi Kependidikan (LPTK)” : develop LPTK as an innovative function, give suggestion to the government, develop the programs, and cooperate to the school in make the innovation of the educate.

We know that learn mathematic is not easy, the condition when the teacher teach mathematic is very afraid.

Curriculum Based on Competences :
Planning and the arrangement about the competences that must be reached by students, teaching learning process, assessment, and developing education power.
Competences : Knowledge, capability, attitude and the value that must be had by the students and be reflected in thinking and doing usual.
The method to develop Curriculum Based on Competences :

This curriculum is different with the other curriculum because there is the new thing in this curriculum, they are :
1.      Press the balance between attitude development, academic competences, art, and physic

5.      Challenging the function of the teacher or instructor as facilitator
Basic Competences : The measure of the minimal competences, consist of knowledge, capability, and attitude that must be reached by students in every graduate from the subject. Basic competences must be dominated by the students to reach the standard competences.
Main Topic : The main of the subject like teaching aid, media, content, process, capability.
Indicator : Specific basic competences that can be made as the measurement for give minimal point.

Planning and development of curriculum is the work that need a depth thinking to fulfill the suitable requisite. The development of Indonesian make the curriculum development must consider : education issue, the problem in education, variety of school, students capability and the pressure from the society. There are six principles that must be considered to develop mathematics syllabi based n competences : chance for all students, curriculum not only collection of the main topic of the subject but also can reflect the mathematics activity coheren, teaching learning of mathematics need an understanding about students need, apperception of the students and the teaching learning facilitate, chance for the students to learn mathematic actively to construct concept structure through their knowledge and their experiences, need an assessment, then use many kinds strategy and teaching learning method.
Characteristic of Mathematics :
1.search for patterns and relationship,
2.mathematics is a creative activity,
3.involving imagination,
4.intuition and discovery,
5.mathematics is a way of solving problems,
6.mathematics is a means of communicating information or ideas
Characteristic of Students :
  1. Cognitive development
Ebbut and Straker (1995: 60-75) give their opinion that to make the capability of the student can be developed optimally, assumption about the characteristic students and the implication are : the students will learn mathematic if they have motivation, they learn with their own ways, students learn mathematics individually or in group, the students need a context and the different condition when they learn mathematics.
  1. Affective development
Paul (1963: 519) said that attitude is the apperception of the students to act so that it is a regularly disposition that they have through their experiences.
  1. Psychomotor development
Psychomotor have the big influence to know the students capability in solve the problem. In this activity, students asked to demonstrate their capability to do physic activity like draw the triangle, circle, etc.
Implication for developing curriculum based on competences
This curriculum is designed in the process of learn mathematics, students can do search for patterns and relationship,  develop their creative activity, involving imagination, intuition and discovery, solving problems.
Consider the topic of the subject, so standard competency that must be reached by students is understanding and do account operation in solve problem, understand the characteristic of line, etc.
Experience and teaching learning process is the activity that must be done by the students to reach basic competences and the topic of subject. Developing the experience and the students activity is the essence of mathematics curriculum that based on competences. In this curriculum consist of characteristic of mathematics, students and learn mathematics.
