PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN PECAHAN DI SMP

In mathematics realistic, we use all of the concrete  thing in our environment to support our context about mathematics. The concrete thing is manipulated by the students to bring the concrete concept become the abstract concept to help the students understand about the concepts by using interaction between the students, students and the teacher and, students and the around environment. 
Hans Freudental in Sugiman (2007) said that mathematics is the human activities and must be related in reality. When the students do the teaching learning process especially in mathematics teaching learning process then in themselves is happened the mathematics process.
In junior high school, there is a topic in mathematics subject about fraction. The purpose of the teaching learning process about fraction are :
1. Solve the contextual problem in daily life and find the concepts about fraction from the contextual problem
2. Understand the fraction concepts
3. Communicate the concept and its usefulness in the daily life
From this article, we can get the conclusion when the students study about fraction :
1. Give opportunity to our students to develop and reflect the concepts

2. Give opportunity to our students to develop their new knowledge
3. Give opportunity to our students to get their knowledge by themselves as a changing process that consist of addition, creativity, modification, reconstruction.
4. Give opportunity to our students to understand and implement the fraction.
